New Bill Could Save the Lives of Underage Drinkers

Lindsey Minton

In Arizona, everybody knows that the legal drinking age is 21 years old, but that doesn’t stop some underage college students from drinking. Although it’s not legal, it happens, and sometimes it leads to blacking out or even worse, dying.

A recent ASU graduate decided to take action and propose an idea. With the help of state senator Kelli Ward, a new bill has been drafted. The bill would allow an underage person who has been drinking to call police without getting in trouble if they or a friend need help. Read it at AZ Central.
